We want you to benefit from our many years of R&D and share with us the fruits of our labour.  In 1995 we developed an automatic self sealing Flood Door the 'FloodPruf' Door . It won many major awards including the year 2007 best innovative product at the Inter Build Exhibition . (We have decades of experience in designing and building innovative and beautiful doors).  At that time 'Interbuild' was the biggest Building and Construction Exhibition in Europe , held at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre.

Since then we have continued developing our system Our latest system is  called the 'QuiXseal System' . Used in high performance doors whenever optimum sealing against air and water infiltration is demanded. The QuiXseal system is exclusive to Abbey Heritage and  continues to attract awards and praise. We still of course offer doors with traditional 'Schlegel' type compression seals when when standard weather stripping will do.                                                                                
The name QuiXseal derives from the speed that our innovative  sealing system inflates to seal off the door. (average 3 seconds). QuiXseal Doors are  'SMART' doors utilising space age technology and radar motion  sensors. Developed to offer the pinnacle of performance against ingress of : wind, rain, floodwater, Cold, damp, air pollution and of course uninvited guests. Our doors are ultra secure. Of course because of their speedy and impressive sealing performance QuiXseal doors also conserve the valuable heat or air conditioned air in your home reducing heating/cooling bills as well as preventing the ingress of harmful vehicle emissions in built up areas.

QuiXseals 'cutting edge' Laser Sensors detects human presence near the door, Activating inflatable seals fitted within the door frame, or Retro-fitted to an existing door. Only authorised persons are allowed to lock/unlock the door. A QuiXseal inflatable seal inflates to approx 15PSI (pounds per sq Inch) automatically whenever the door is closed giving an airtight seal between door and frame. The fitted sensors again automatically deflate the seal whenever someone wants to exit the door. This only takes a seconds When the door is closed  the QuiXseal activates again completely sealing off the door in 3 seconds.   (Hence the name QuiXseal). This highly efficient and effective system gives outstanding reliable performance.

Not only will you have the best automatic high performance sealing system for your doors . Our range of bespoke  doors come with High Security multi-point/pin locking. (upto 9 point locking around the door). We also manufacture Safe Room / Panic Room Doors as well as fully Ballistic Rated Doors so we know a thing or two about making doors secure.

QUIXSEAL REQUIREMENTS:
Your QuiXseal system is powered by low voltage 5V DC . This is supplied from a plug in adaptor (similar to a phone charger). You will need a 240V plug socket or spur preferably within 2 mtrs of the door (lock side) or upto a maximum of 4 mts to supply power. The system is based on latest technology micro electronics including radar motion detection sensors. A type C USB cable and mains plug adaptor is supplied with each system.
